Decoracion navideña - Christmas decoration

La Navidad ya ha llegado a mi casa, ¡este año más pronto que nunca! Como dos niños pequeños, cada año esperamos impacientes al puente de la Constitución para sacar todos los cachibaches navideños y poner el árbol, que es cuando se encienden las luces en las calles de Santander y parece que al fin llega el ambiente navideño.

Normalmente nuestro arbolito suele estar acompañado por una flor de pascua. La pobre inocente cada año llega a casa preciosa con sus hojas rojas, pero al final se me acaba muriendo así que este año decidimos no comprarla. En su lugar, mi suegro que es un sol me ha regalado unas ramas del acebo de su jardín. ¡Queda muy bonito! He aprovechado para llevarme una en un jarroncito para el despacho y alegrarme un poco entre rollo y rollo.

Christmas has already arrived to my house, this year sooner than anyone before! As two small children, we wait impatiently the "Constitution long weekend" to decorate our Christmas Tree. This weekend is when Christmas-lights are switched on in Santander, and everything start smelling  to Christmas.

Every year our Christmas Tree is accompanied by a poinsettia. The plant is always lovely when arrives with big red leafs, but it dies a few weeks later, so we decided no to buy one this year. To complete the decoration, my father-in-law (who is a really lovely person), has given to us some branches of the holly tree he has got in his garden. It is beautiful!!!

En el post de ayer se me olvidó poner las fotos de una nueva Princesa. Como lo prometido es deuda, hoy toca doble: os presento a mis princesas Blue y Pink. ¡Espero que os gusten!

Mari Mar me recuerda a mi amiga Fátima, ya que el día de la boda le regalé una muy parecida. Fue una coincidencia pero cuatro de mis amigas vinieron a la boda vestidas de azul, así que me costó lo mío hacer cuatro Princesas diferentes vestidas de azul... ¡¡¡pero no hay nada imposible!!! Lleva una falda hecha de fieltro azúl bebé y tul azúl oscuro. El tul va a juego con la cuenta de cristal Swarovsky de la cintura y con el tocado. El tocado está hecho con una pluma azúl de lunares, fieltro naranja y un botón.

Rose Mary es mi Princesa favorita, lo confieso. Después de la boda me di cuenta de que no tenía mi propia Princesa (aparte de la de la tarta), así que me hice esta y no me la quité en todo el viaje de novios. Así que la tengo un cariño especial. La falda está hecha con fieltro rosa y tul blanco. En la cintura le puse una cuenta de cristal Swarovsky negra a juego con el pelo y la pluma. El tocado lleva simplemente una pluma de lunares rosas y negros y una florecita rosa.

Yesterday, I forgot to show you a new Princess. A promise is a promise so I show you my Blue and my Pink princesses. I hope you like them!

Mari Mar reminds me my friend Fatima, because I gave her a similar Princess the day of my wedding. It was a coincidence but four of my friends wore a blue dress this day so it was quite difficult to design four different blue-princesses for them... but there's nothing impossible! She wears a skirt made of light blue felt and blue tulle. The color of the tulle combines perfectly with the Swarovsky glass of the waist and the feather of the hair. The hairdress is made of a spotted feather, orange felt and a button.

I confess you that Rose Mary is my favourite Princess. After the wedding, I noticed that I didn't have my own princess (appart from the cake topper, of course), so I made this one and I used it almost all the time during the honey moon. The skirt is made of pink felt and white tulle. I used black Swarovsky glass for the waist, which combines perfectly with the hair and the feather. The hairdress is made of a spotted feather and a little pink flower.
